Feature and Follow #2
Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community. If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers. But you have to know, the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me. This is my second Feature and Follow, and general the rules are:
· Follow the Feature and Follow Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
· Follow the Featured Bloggers
· Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
· Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
· Follow Follow Follow as many as you can. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
· If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers. Thanks!!
Here’s this week’s question: We always talk about books that WE want. Let's turn it on its head. What books have you given other people lately?
Honestly, I haven’t bought anyone a book lately. I always buy hard copies (paperback or hardcover) from bookshops in my area but I’ve been out of buying books since my accident last year. Since then I’ve been reading the books I already bought.
Okay, the question says ‘What book have you given other people lately?’ Well… I’ve given out books from my collection to my friends lately. Last week I gave Pretend You Don’t See Her by Mary Higgins Clark to my friend, Becky. And I also gave James Rollins’ Deep Fathom and Jonathan Kellerman’s The Conspiracy Club to another friend, Felix.
What about you?
Leave a link to your #FF, so I can check it out. Please let me know if you are a new follower, so I can follow you back. Happy Friday to all!

ReplyDeleteOld follower via GFC. My FF for the week.
Hope you're getting better soon!
Thanks, Goldie. I'm getting better. :) The Conspiracy club is a good book. But TWISTED is my favorite Jonathan Kellerman book. I enjoy MHC's books. So far I've read just four among them. I hope to read more, though.
DeleteThanks for stopping by :) I'm heading over to your blog straightaway to see your #FF
Old follower here, I recently bought The Host for my sister since I'm making her see the movie with me. But since starting my life over, I rarely buy books anymore. I love sharing them though. My neighbor's read close to twenty of my YA or paranormal books. Happy Weekend, Kaykay!
ReplyDeleteI have an e-copy of The Host, but I haven't been able to read it yet. I saw the second trailer for the movie. It was awesome. Hopefully, I'd read the book before the movie comes out.
DeleteHappy Friday and Happy Reading, Robyn.
Sorry to hear of your accident and hopefully you're on the mend. I always discover hidden gems in my own library! Sometimes I forget I bought a book, etc. I hope you are finding hidden gems.

DeleteHave an awesome weekend.
Oh, I haven't read any of the books you are talking about.
ReplyDeleteThere are too many authors that I want to read!! I should read faster but I enjoy reading a book slowly and get what I can from it..
Have a nice weekend!!!
Thanks, Athina. I'm a fan of Mary Higgins Clark's Suspense. I also love Kellerman's Psychological Thrillers featuring Dr. Alex Delaware. Yeah, so many books to read. And I agree with you on reading slower so as to enjoy a book more.
DeleteThanks for stopping by :) Have an awesome weekend too!
Hi Kaykay, thanks very much for stopping by my blog and following. Returning the favor! You can't go wrong with Kellerman, of course!

Thanks, Michael. Kellerman is one of my favorite authors :)
DeleteHave a nice weekend.
Thanks for stopping by and the follow. I returned the favor. I keep thinking about what a dent I would make in my shelves if I quit buying books. I think I have enough unread books to last me YEARS. It's nice that you give your books to friends. I'm a little hoarderish with my old ones. What if I wanted to read them again!?!?
ReplyDeleteLisa @ I'll Tumble For YA
Thanks for following too, Lisa. Yeah, sometimes I hesitate when giving away my old books.
