Here’s this week's question: Have you broken up with a
series? If so which one and why
Honestly, I haven’t read so many series. I usually read single books, so I can’t think of
any series I’ve broken up with. Currently, I’m in the middle of these series:
Divergent by Veronica Roth, Legend by Marie Lu, and The Immortal Rules by Julie
Kagawa. They’re awesome, and I don’t think I’m going to break up with them.
Besides, I’m caught in a love triangle between Beatrice Prior and Allison
Sekemoto. *winks*
So, that’s it. How about you? Which series have you broken up
with? And why?
With GFC going away please follow via BlogLovin, RSS, or
Email.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by. And don't forget to
leave your link in the comments section below so I can follow back!
Ha! I love your answer, "Besides, I’m caught in a love triangle..." I don't think any of those will let you down. And I have returned to serveral books that I quit on only to love them the second time around. It's all about timing and mood. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend, Kaykay!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Robyn. Yeah, I hope they don't let me down. LOl. :)
DeleteHave a great weekend! :)

Thanks for following, Eveline. :)
DeleteHave a great weekend.
Hope you never have to break up with any series in the future! I haven't read Divergent yet but all the ones you're reading are really good. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF! :)
You're welcome, Madiha. I hope so too. Divergent is really good. I gave it 5 Stars in my review. :)
DeleteHave a great weekend!
Oh awesome series!! I looove Divergent--still have to read Insurgent!--and The Immortal Rules! The Eternity Cure was freaking awesome! Be sure to read that one soon after The Immortal Rules, but I should warn you that there is a cliffhanger of sorts that had me screaming since I read the book as an ARC and therefore my wait for the third one is going to be even longer!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
I didn't enjoy Insurgent as much as Divergent. I've heard really good words about The Eternity Cure. I hope I can buy it immediately I finish reading The Immortal Rules.
DeleteThanks for stopping by. Have a fantastic weekend! :)
I unfortunately broke up with Divergent and the Immortal Rules.
ReplyDelete- New follower!
Ha! Sorry to hear about that. :( I like both series, although Insurgent annoyed me a bit.
DeleteThanks for following.
Hi Kaykay,
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series, but I hear the best for Immortal Rules. I'm currently reading the Uglies series. I'm on book 3.
Here is my FF http://between-my-lines.blogspot.gr/2013/06/feature-and-follow-14-broken-up-with.html
The Immortal Rules is awesome, though I haven't finished reading it yet. But I know I'll love every word. I hope You're enjoying The Uglies. I think I have the first book on my TBR.
DeleteThanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend! :)
LOL I love Tris and Allie as well, but I'm not in a love-triangle with them :) Love your answer! And truly, the books I've read so far in both of the series have blown my socks off!
ReplyDeleteOld Bloglovin' follower, here's my FF post for this week.
Haha! Thanks, Lexxie. I like both of them, although Tris got me really annoyed in Insurgent.
DeleteThanks for stopping by! :)

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Michael. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHave a great week! :)
Hopping in, to say thanks for the visit and the follow! I'm now following you by Bloglovin' and Twitter.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of series, mystery series in particular, because the main characters get to be like "old friends" that one visits again, whenever a new book in the series is released. My love for mystery series probably started as a child, reading Nancy Drew mysteries - in order, of course. ;)
I'm also a big fan of Mary Higgins Clark. I enjoyed your review of Two Little Girls in Blue!
My F&F
Thanks for following, Jane. I love mysteries too! :) I like MHC as well, and I like Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware novels.
DeleteHave a nice week! :)
I haven't read anything by Kellerman. I must get acquainted with Alex Delaware.
DeleteIt's nice to find another mystery fan in F&F!
Ah, Kellerman is good! I've read four of his books, two in the Alex Delaware series, one in the Petra Connor series, and one stand-alone novel, The Conspiracy Club.
DeleteHe writes psychological mysteries. Nice to find a mystery fan too. :)
Those are all series I'm dying to read! I really didn't have an answer for this week. A series would have to be atrocious for me not to finish it. It bothers me when I don't finish what I've started, lol. Thanks for visiting my FF! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, it does bother me too. So far, I'm enjoying the books. I love YA Dystopian books. :)
DeleteThanks for dropping by. Have a great week! :)
Good for you! And yes, those series are awesome! I doubt you'd break up with them soon. Thanks for dropping by my FF.
ReplyDeleteNina @ The Bookish Confections
Thanks, Nina. I'm glad you stopped by.
DeleteHave a great week! :)
Great answer!! They are great books!! The Eternity Cure was awesome and I interviewed Julie about it on my blog this week, she is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteThanx for visiting my FF!
Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Old Follower :)
Thanks for Naomi. I saw the interview on your blog but I didn't read it because I felt it might contain some spoilers. Anyway, I play on getting The Eternity Cure soon.
DeleteHave a great week! :)
I haven't broken up with any series either, I get too curious about what it going to happen and how they will end.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF! Followed back via GFC and bloglovin :)
